OTCFin Becomes Signatory to United Nations-Supported Principles for Responsible Investment

New York, NY, —November 6, 2020—: OTCFin announced today that it had become a signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The PRI is the world's leading network of responsible investment, bringing together institutional investors committed to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into their investment practices, analysis, and decision-making processes.

In July 2020, OTCFin also launched its ESG-integrated portfolio monitoring, reporting and consultancy services. With a rapidly growing adoption of ESG factors in publicly available company disclosures as well as for private companies, asset managers now have a wider access to ESG data. OTCFin’s PATOne EDM platform has been expanded to cover ESG data to support ESG analysis and reporting alongside investment, risk, and performance data. ESG issues are potential sources of risk to the sustainable profits of businesses, and accounting for these risks is becoming an integral process for the asset management process. Implementing the UN PRI principles is consistent with our primary focus on minimizing risk for our clients.

“ OTCFin is proud to be a part of the largest ESG network in the world. Adhering to the Principles for Responsible Investment is a crucial step in providing our ESG-related services. This positive step forward will further enrich the quality of the service we provide, contributing positively towards more sustainable finance/future.”

There are, currently, more than 7,000 corporate signatories in 135 countries, marking the PRI the world's largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative.

Founded in 1999, OTCFin has been a leader in risk and regulatory data integration and reporting. The company provides integrated solutions to investment managers to help them better and more efficiently manage their portfolios.
