OTCFin is a FinTech company seeking a creative and talented UI developer to architect, design and develop financial web applications.  This engagement will be on a consultancy basis, with the expected duration of 3-6 months.  The candidate will be working with financial engineer and development team members located in our NY and Barcelona offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Usability engineering for web-based solutions

* Web application workflow design and implementation

* Integration of web application with back-end data processes based in SQL Server and SSIS technologies

* Design of Rich-Internet applications including the use of AJAX and Java Script

* Web mastering including graphical design

REQUIREMENTS

* Should have over 3 years of solid development experience in the web application development, preferably in the financial services field

* Current C# coding skills; strong working knowledge in ASP.NET, C# 2.0, .NET Framework 2.0-3.5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XML

* Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SharePoint development, working with Microsoft Azure Services

* Web application design

* User interface and dashboards design

* Solid knowledge of SQL language

* Good knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts

* Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

* Experience with working on medium to large size projects

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Should be self-motivated and very good team player

PLUS

* Experience with Web services, Excel automation, Multi-threading, User session handling, WinForms

* Good understanding of financial instruments and financial markets
